APPLYING FOR A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
To apply for a Certificate of Occupancy (CO) in Denison, Texas, individuals must utilize the city’s online permitting system through MGO. To begin, applicants need to register for an account on the MGO portal. permits@cityofdenison.com.​
Once registered, users can submit a Certificate of Occupancy application, request inspections, view inspection results, check permit statuses, and pay associated fees. The standard fee for a CO is $50. Fire inspections are also required and can be requested through the MGO portal or by emailing the Fire Marshal at firemarshal@cityofdenison.com.​
